After Frankonia EP, written and produced by Nils Weimann and Martin Glowacz, plus a remix from Paul Agripa, heavily played at Sunwaves 23, Subtil Records is back in style for its 13th release with a two tracker EP from Nunes.
Minimal at its best, the track we are premiering is Poesia Sonora, on the B-side. Being the track the EP takes the name from, the expectations are very high and, once again, met. An enchanting and rapid rhythm is combined with children voices reciting poems in a confused yet charming way, before opening the way for a more melodic and uplifting cut.
on A-side, Disventura. Percussions are the main ingredient, which never disappoints, with a flow that keeps the dancefloor moving.
Subtil confirms the standards and provides an interesting and versatile EP, taking care more on the substance than the form. Each of the two track might not stand out as summer anthem, but given their groove will definitely make it in several set and acts.
