Premiere: A2 – Luca Cazal & Ali Black – Keele (Silverlining remix) [SD008]

It can take a number of releases before music labels find their footing and began to cement their sound. However, London-based label See Double have strung together a number of excellent releases since 2015 and it’s fair to say they’ve locked down their label sound a lot quicker than most do.

Release number eight features a pair of double teams, with head honcho Luca Cazal and Ali Black featuring on the A side with Blake and Brigante taking control of B, with remixes from Silverlining and Marlon.

All four cuts are impressive, but we’re especially pleased to be able to premiere Silverlining’s remix of Luca Cazal and Ali Black’s ‘Keele’.

It’s a no-nonsense party starter from one of the best in the business. Bouncy drums and claps are infectiously danceable whilst the UK producer makes the best of his analogue production, sprinkling in hardware squeaks, glitches and some ever-present catchy chords.

Also featuring on the EP is Cazal and Black’s original track, a dynamic dancefloor-ready house production. On the flip side is Blake and Brigante providing a smooth early-set roller whilst Marlon gives it a minimal twist on B2.

See Double’s eight release will be available soon via Deejay, Juno or any good record store of your choice.
