Spanish outlet Play Groove Recordings launch a new vinyl project starting with Sebastian Ledher’s dreamy soundscapes.
Transitioning to a more refined tech-house sound, Play Groove makes the shift to the vinyl-market. After an extensive series of digital releases, the collective gained traction from tech-house giants in the likes of Marco Carola and Jamie Jones.
A patient and elegant approach distinguish the significant difference from Play Groove’s previous works. Accented with short vocal snippets, lucid pads glide over a slim tech house beat in ‘Pad Thai’, a mood remnant of the likes of iO Mulen and FUSE London.
Delicate melodies caress a warm, driving sub bass throughout the track. Glued by an angelic pallet of melodies, elements swim in coherence with one another, assembled via an intelligent layering of subtle call and response work, casting a comforting, satisfying atmosphere.
