British DJ and producer PACH brings to light his debut release under his new record label Back Of The Bus Records – New Beginnings””.
Hailing from Manchester and starting his musical journey at the age of 16, PACH has been focusing his sound in the past 9 years mainly around the UK & Romanian Minimal Scene. He has received continuous support for his music from the likes of Enzo Siragusa, Chris Stussy, Barac, Arapu, East End Dubs, and many others.
Today’s spotlight is the first track on the record, A1 – Double Trouble. The 6-minute piece begins with a simple kick-snare drum loop that evolves and is slowly getting enriched with plucked percussions and strong snares. As we get closer to the midpoint, more sounds are emerging to light. Heavy echoed synths and playful drums prepare the ground for the dark low-frequency build-up, composed of wavy synths and soft pads leading the listeners to the abrupt drop that will put them in a thrilling dancing mood for the rest of the night.
Moving on to A2 – “7am Start”, the track continues the storyline in a similar manner, keeping the energy and the mood up through this tough-edged groove packed with precise drums and laser synths.
Flipping over to B1, “Hassle In The Castle” with its nice percolating bassline and its narcotic pads will ensure undivided attention.
Heading to the last track on the record – B2, “Stairway To Heaven” hits at the right places and completes a simple yet complex groove, with slightly reversed flute sounds and controlled frequencies.
With the characterful artwork and minimal house beats packed with charm, the “New Beginnings” EP has what it takes to become a banger.
