Maai Records is back in our premieres section with their hot five from Electrodynamique. We were interested in the opening one and are ready to present.
“Positive Dealer”, as the whole EP in general, is a very synthy piece. Jumpy and bright, this one is designed with a delight for the biggest of dancefloors this summer. And we all love those, right?
“Destroy The System” is still synthy (maybe, more “8-bit synthy”) and less bright, but at the same time, it is far away from being called “dark”. “Vintage Groove” adds some bleeps to the synths here, and the whole dish just became even better.
“A Classic Rock Tune”, as you can think from its name, sounds as if it could be used in some Justice/MSTRKRFT era sets. We need a whole band to feel the 100% of it, I guess. And, finally, “Winter”, a slow electro piece, that is perfect for the ending – record or set, you decide.
It’s a usual thing to mix past and the future lately, but if you like this specific blend, Juno, Deejay, or Decks will have you covered with the purchase, as always.
