Georgian artist Nicole, now based in Berlin, has been making leaps and bounds in the underground of late. With her tracks being hailed by a wide cross section of heroes that include Sonja Moonear, Marco Shuttle, Tunik. This has resulted in her work finding homes on Anthea’s Partisan imprint, CATH, and Marco Shuttle’s long running Eerie record label. With more and more chances to catch Nicole in action, she can be found performing at Berlin’s finest beat emporiums that include upcoming dates in January at Kater and Tersor.
As well as maintaining a busy touring schedule, Nicole is constantly furthering her deep dive into moody electronics and she hits the nail on the head with “Bird In Plane”. Our next episode of our Free Download series treads a sinister path and with deep encompassing bass tones and menacing synths in full effect. It is, however, the sultry vocals that really tip the scales into special territory.
